Providing lifelong care that is: safe, effective & dependable - for all of our community.

September 2020 - In order to keep our patients safe, the surgery is continuing to operate a triage model of care.  Once your care needs have been assessed by a clinician - either by phone or by reviewing your online consultation - please be assured that you will be offered a face-to-face appointment if the clinician feels that your care cannot be handled over the phone.

Please use Online Consult - This is a new service for all NHS GP Practices and our reception team can walk you through how to use it.

Further to recent Government Guidance on wearing face masks, please see document from Worcestershire & Herefordshire LMC, stating that our GP's are not in a position to provide patients with exemption letters.  There is more information about this in our NEWS section of this website.

We have been issued with Guidance Notes for Parents of Children who are Self-Isolating from Worcestershire & Herefordshire LMC.  Further information is in 'Our  Documents' section of this website.

THE SURGERY - INCLUDING DISPENSARY - WILL BE CLOSED ON THE MORNING OF WEDNESDAY, 23RD SEPTEMBER FOR CLINICAL GOVERNANCE

The amount of ear wax produced varies from person to person; some people produce excessive amounts which can lead to a blockage in the ear canal.

You are more likely to develop a blockage of wax in the canal if you:

  • use cotton ear buds to clean the ear as this pushes the wax deeper into the canal
  • wear a hearing aid, ear plugs or use in-ear speakers for i-pods or similar - as these can all interfere with the natural process of wax expulsion
  • have abnormally narrow ear canals
  • have a particularly hairy ear canal
  • are elderly – because the ear wax you produce is drier and harder
  • have a dry skin problem such as eczema or psoriasis
