NHS 111 If you need to see a doctor when Fownhope Medical Centre is closed ring NHS 111 and you will be directed to the most appropriate care. You will be put through to staff trained in making sure that you receive the right sort of help quickly. You may be asked to travel to a  hospital or out of hours GP, if you are fit to do so.

Taurus for routine GP, Nurse or HCA appointments in the evening and at weekends.

You can now make a GP, Nurse or HCA appointment outside normal hours:

– Monday – Friday 6.00pm – 8.00pm.

– Saturday & Sunday 8.00am – 8.00pm.

 To make an appointment with Taurus in the evening or at the weekend you can;

– Ring Fownhope Medical Centre during surgery hours on 01432 860235. We will book the Taurus appointment for you. The appointment will not be at Fownhope but it will be at a Herefordshire surgery.

Or 

Ring Taurus on 0800 121 7221 and select which surgery you wish to go to.

Or

Ring NHS 111 and they will direct you to the appropriate service, including Taurus.

 The GP out of hours service is run by Taurus Healthcare Ltd – a consortium of all 24 GP practices in Herefordshire.
