Welcome to Dr Sion Gibby!

New GP Partner at Fownhope Medical Centre

We are pleased to welcome a fifth GP Partner to Fownhope Medical Centre – Dr Sion Gibby. Dr Gibby qualified from Oxford University Medical School, worked as a junior doctor in London (with a brief stint as a Ship’s Doctor) before qualifying as a GP in 2002. He has moved into the area having been a GP in London for over 15 years.  Dr Gibby is married with 3 young children and lives near Skenfrith in Monmouthshire. His wife is also a GP and has become a GP Partner at Much Birch Surgery. Dr Gibby is a keen cyclist and an avid Welsh rugby fan and has high hopes of cycling to work – when the weather improves! Dr Gibby joins Dr Alison Wood, Dr Mike Hearne, Dr Dinah Hawkyard and Dr Richard Kippax in the partnership.
