Delivery Service
Fownhope operates a Prescription Delivery Service for those patients who are unable to get to the surgery to collect their medication. This visits a different area each weekday and is free of charge.

If you think you would benefit from the delivery service please ask reception for a registration form.
We only deliver to the areas listed on the days specified. On bank holidays we may by arrangement deliver to two areas on the same day but we will let you know in advance.
We do not deliver emergency supplies of medication to an area unless it is their routine day. Deliveries usually commence the month following registration.
Paying for Medication
All prescriptions must be paid for when collected. If you are exempt from prescription charges a valid exemption certificate must be produced.
You Can Pay by:
- Direct Debit Card or Credit Card.
Please note if you choose to pay by Credit Card there is an additional 2.5% added to cover bank charges. If you are interested in finding out more about whether you are exempt from paying, or pre-payment cards pick up a leaflet from Dispensary or visit: www.nhs.uk.
